The Jemez Arts and Crafts Association, formerly Towa Arts and Crafts Committee, aims to help local Jemez Pueblo artists, as well as artists from other Indigenous communities by providing venues and events like the annual Jemez Red Rocks Arts and Crafts Show to sell their artwork so they can provide for themselves and their families. ~~~New Event- 1st Annual Jemez Harvest Festival
October 1-2, 2016
With the beginning of October comes the International Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta that draws thousands of visitors from all over the world to New Mexico! Once the morning balloon events have taken place many travel to various sites close to Albuquerque and the Jemez valley is one of their favorites! The Jemez Arts and Crafts Association, JACA wanted to take advantage of the many visitors that come through the Jemez Valley during the Balloon Fiesta. So we will have the first “Jemez Harvest Festival” at the Jemez Pueblo Red Rocks during the first weekend of the Balloon Fiesta.
We will have Arts and Crafts vendors from all over the Jemez Valley Corridor, Native American and NON-Native arts and crafts. So, please join us, as we celebrate the Harvest.
Due to very short notice, cost of exhibiting will be a donation. Those who wish to sell your harvest products are welcome. Bring your own canopies, tables, and chairs. For more info call 505-220-5639 or 505-249-3577.
